It's Not a Hobby!

So I was trying to get insurance for my art at art shows this summer. Sort of a small business insurance. I gave all my info then got a call back today and was told I was denied. This is what they said as to why, " we only insure real businesses not hobbies." I was so pissed. If it was a hobby why would I need insurance. My art is not a hobby, if I could I would devote my entire life to it but I am not at the point where it provides me with a livable income yet. Some people are so narrow minded and only view Art as a hobby. Well go tell that to Van Gogh!
